QUETTA: March 23, 2026: The District Administration of Quetta, in coordination with the Lines Department, organized an impressive Pakistan Day rally on March 23, celebrating the nation’s unity, patriotism, and historical legacy. The event commenced from the Deputy Commissioner Complex and drew participation from government officials, staff, students, teachers, and citizens, all coming together to honor the occasion.
Marchers proudly waved national flags and chanted patriotic slogans, expressing their devotion to the country. The procession moved through major streets of Quetta, receiving warm appreciation from local residents, while stringent security measures ensured that the rally proceeded peacefully and in an orderly manner.
Officials from the district administration underscored the historical significance of March 23, 1940, when the Pakistan Resolution was passed, laying the foundation for the creation of an independent homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent. They highlighted that the day serves as a reminder of the principles of unity, faith, and discipline.
In addition, Municipal Committee officials contributed to the celebrations by placing banners and decorating public spaces throughout the city to cultivate awareness and patriotic sentiment among citizens.
