Parliamentary committee agree on formulation of budget: Balochistan’s next budget to extensively focus on development projects in line with Govt.’s priorities, says CM

Mir Sarfraz Bugti expresses commitment to ensuring 100% allocation for proposed projects so that financial resources are used effectively and developmental needs of people are met

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that the province’s next financial year’s budget would not only ensure the provision of basic facilities but would also focus extensively on development projects in line with the government’s priorities.
The Chief Minister was chairing a meeting of the parliamentary committee regarding formulation of province’s new financial year for 2025-26, here at the CM’s secretariat on Tuesday.
Parliamentary leaders and members from the government’s allied parties were in attendance in the meeting.
They were included: Nawabzada Mir Tariq Khan Magsi, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Mir Sadiq Umrani, Bakht Mohammad Kakar, Engineer Zamarak Khan Achakzai, Mir Abdul Majeed Badini, and Haji Ali Madad Jatak.
Speaking at the meeting, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the upcoming budget would include community-oriented schemes to prioritize public welfare.
He said that available resources would be utilized for public interest projects to pave the way for new avenues of development in the province.
He expressed his commitment to ensuring 100% allocation for the proposed projects so that financial resources are used effectively and the developmental needs of the people are met.
The Chief Minister added that the budget would not only ensure the provision of basic facilities but would also focus strongly on developmental projects aligned with the government’s priorities.
During the meeting, participants were agreed on the formulation of the upcoming fiscal year’s budget under the Chief Minister’s leadership and presented suggestions to better serve the public.
