Following the recent suicide attack at the G-11 District and Sessions Court in Islamabad, Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjhar has directed police across the province to remain on “high alert until further orders.”
According to an official statement from the Sindh Home Department, the minister instructed that monitoring and checking at key entry and exit points, highways, and major roads be intensified to prevent any potential threats or terrorist activities.
The Islamabad attack claimed the lives of at least 12 individuals and left over 20 injured.
Furthermore, Minister Lanjhar ordered a comprehensive review of security plans for all major public and political events in the coming days and months to ensure public safety.
These measures reflect Sindh Police’s proactive security stance and commitment to protecting citizens.
