Nasirabad:
Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs and MPA Sanjay Kumar Panjwani has said that, for the first time in Balochistan’s history, substantial funds have been allocated for the welfare and development of minority communities under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
He announced that a Rs500 million water supply scheme is being launched for the Hindu Mohalla of Dera Murad Jamali to ensure access to clean drinking water. Additional funds have been earmarked for new electricity transformers, street paving with Tuff Tiles, and the construction and renovation of Chattar Mandir.
Panjwani further disclosed that funds have also been allocated for minority welfare projects in other cities, including Kolpur, Bhag Nari, Dhadar, Usta Muhammad, Dera Allah Yar, and Manjhi Pur. He said these funds will be utilized for temples, gurdwaras, and community development, ensuring equal opportunities for minorities across the province.
