Authorities in Sanjawi, under Deputy Commissioner Ziarat’s directives, destroyed 7–9 acres of illegal poppy cultivation in the hilly area of Killi Shnalez. The operation, overseen by Assistant Commissioner Sanjawi Sher Shah Ghazlai and executed by the Levies Force, included the participation of local officials and law enforcement. To date, 47–54 acres of illicit crops have been eradicated in the district. Officials stressed that anti-poppy operations will continue with targeted monitoring to eliminate illegal cultivation and curb narcotics-related activities. The administration reiterated its commitment to enforcing the law, maintaining security, and supporting sustainable agricultural practices in affected areas.
