Quetta, January 16, 2026:
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the Balochistan government has taken a historic step to promote investment and entrepreneurship by establishing the province’s first Business Facilitation Center. The initiative, part of the provincial Digitization Program, aims to simplify processes for businesspersons, investors, and industrialists.
The center will provide all necessary permits, registrations, licenses, and approvals under one roof, eliminating bureaucratic delays and reducing obstacles for local and foreign investors. The fully digital system allows real-time tracking of applications, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability.
A soft launch of the center is scheduled for January 21 at the Sikandar Jamali Auditorium, Civil Secretariat, Quetta. Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade (BBoIT), Bilal Khan Kakar, chaired a preparatory meeting to finalize administrative and technical arrangements.
Bilal Khan Kakar said the center would mark a major milestone in creating a business-friendly environment, attracting investment, generating employment, and supporting economic growth, reflecting the vision of the Chief Minister for modern governance and development across Balochistan.
