Satbayev Kazakh Cultural Center Inaugurated at NUST to Boost Pakistan–Kazakhstan Ties

Islamabad, Feb 2, 2026: Pakistan and Kazakhstan took a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations with the inauguration of the Satbayev Kazakh Cultural Center at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). The center was jointly inaugurated by Kazakhstan’s Minister for Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek and Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khalid Magsi said the initiative represents more than the opening of a facility, describing it as the foundation of a strong and sustainable bridge between the two nations. He termed the center a milestone in educational diplomacy that would enhance academic collaboration, research, and innovation.
The minister highlighted the importance of adapting to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and stressed that collaboration between leading universities would support human resource development. He also noted Pakistan’s strong cultural and regional connection with Central Asia.
Kazakh Minister Sayasat Nurbek said Pakistan and Kazakhstan share historical and cultural bonds and expressed optimism that academic and scientific cooperation would further strengthen bilateral relations. End
