DADU: Comprehensive Security Plan Deployed for Polio Drive, Over 400,000 Children Targeted

Dadu, 2 February 2026: During the ongoing Polio Immunization Campaign 2026 in Dadu, the district police have implemented a full-proof security plan to ensure the safety of polio teams and protect local communities. Across 52 union councils, authorities aim to administer polio drops to 407,723 children.

Under the directives of SSP Dadu, 1,241 mobile polio teams and 71 fixed teams have been deployed, while 81 transit teams are operating at key entry and exit points with police personnel. In total, 1,600 police officers and personnel, including female staff, are engaged in security duties across the district. Additionally, 35 mobile police vehicles and 40 motorcycles are on constant patrol to respond promptly to any untoward incidents.

The operation is directly monitored by SSP Dadu Captain (R) Amir Saud Magsi, with DSPs, SHOs, and DIB officers ensuring continuous oversight. A special control room has also been set up for timely information sharing and coordination.
