Independent Report
Reports emerging from regional and defence sources claim that Iranian forces carried out a drone and missile strike targeting the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, a key installation hosting US military assets. The incident is said to have caused damage to at least one American surveillance aircraft, with conflicting accounts regarding the extent of destruction.
Unverified claims circulating on social media allege that a high-value US Air Force platform, including an AWACS aircraft, may have been hit during the attack. However, neither US Central Command nor Saudi authorities have confirmed the total loss of any aircraft.
Initial assessments indicate injuries among US personnel stationed at the base, while operational status of the facility reportedly remains intact. The situation is still developing, and independent verification of damage claims has not yet been established.
