ISLAMABAD: Controversial remarks attributed to Noreen Niazi, sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, during a recent interview have drawn strong reactions from political and defence commentators.

According to the interview, Noreen Niazi made allegations regarding the military operation referred to as “Marka-e-Haq” and Pakistan’s armed forces. She also claimed that India refrained from attacking Pakistan due to broader geopolitical considerations. These claims have not been independently verified.

Political and security analysts described the remarks as controversial and argued that unsubstantiated allegations on matters of national security could adversely affect Pakistan’s national interests. They said such statements risk reinforcing hostile narratives and may be exploited by anti-Pakistan propaganda.
