Ideology of violence and militancy will never be accepted, asserts Chief Minister Balochistan

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has firmly stated that India cannot harm Pakistan anyway.
He said that the Pakistani nation is as strong as a fortified wall and every tactic of India will fail. He emphasized that the people of Pakistan are ready to make every sacrifice for the country’s security and that no force can even harm a hair on Pakistan’s head.
Speaking at a public rally in support of the armed forces in the Barshore area of Pishin on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army and its leadership. He added that those spreading propaganda against the armed forces have failed.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti further stated that the ideology of violence and militancy will never be accepted.
The public gathering was also addressed by former caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, Parliamentary Secretary Asfandyar Khan Kakar, along with other tribal and political leaders. A large number of provincial ministers, members of the assembly, and the general public attended the event.
In a symbolic gesture before his speech, the Chief Minister had the bulletproof rostrum removed from the stage, which had been placed there for his security.
He said, “I am among my people.” Despite security officials warning him of threats in Barshore, he insisted that no power in the world could stop him from being with his people or from serving Pakistan and upholding Pakistani identity.
The Chief Minister said that the Pakistani nation stands firmly with its armed forces and its commander. The people of Pishin, Balochistan, and all of Pakistan are united with the Pakistan Army.
Criticizing those who spread propaganda against the armed forces, the Chief Minister said such elements have failed. He asserted that the ideology of violence and militancy will never be accepted. “We are public servants and will always remain among the people. No power in the world can stop us from serving them,” he declared.
He revealed that security officials had warned him about a threat in Barshore, but he chose to attend anyway, emphasizing, “We must honor the commitment we have made to our people. No force in the world can separate me from my people. This is the most important day of my life — to be present among you and speak to you directly.”
The Chief Minister stated that the people of Barshore have sent a clear message to terrorists: if you wish to destroy our schools or empty our public spaces, this proud nation stands here in Barshore to show that we will not back down from our identity as Pakistanis. He added that from the ground of Pishin and Barshore, a strong message has also been sent to India: the people of Barshore, Pishin, Balochistan, and Pakistan are not afraid of Modi’s threats. “Anyone who casts an evil eye on Pakistan will lose that eye. We will offer our lives first for Pakistan,” he said.
He expressed deep gratitude for the love and respect shown by the people of Barshore, calling it the greatest treasure of his life and stating their passion has made him indebted to them.
The Chief Minister announced several development initiatives:
Activation of the Barshore grid station.
Establishment of a cold storage facility in Barshore; Recruitment of 50 new Levies personnel for Barshore.
Reactivation of 72 out of 73 closed schools in Pishin, with orders to activate the final one before his return to Quetta.
He reiterated his commitment to merit, stating, from day one, I declared on the floor of the Balochistan Assembly that jobs will not be sold in Balochistan — and today, jobs are being given to the underprivileged on merit without discrimination.
He took full responsibility for the education of the children of those martyred in terrorist attacks during the general elections in Barshore. “These children will study in the same high-standard institutions as those of affluent families,” he assured.
He also announced a special package for Barshore, Karizat, and Bostan, naming the Levies station after Shaheed Hanif,
Construction of a girls’ college and a hospital in Toba Kakari,
Establishment of a municipal committee in Barshore, Resolution of administrative disputes about tehsils, districts, and divisions through mutual consultation, High-quality construction of the Barshore–Toba Kakari road, which he will personally oversee to ensure no compromise on quality. He warned contractors against embezzlement.
A firm stance against illegal mining, stating that local people have the first right to the region’s minerals.
He praised Asfandyar Kakar, noting he never asked for a ministerial position but always spoke up for public rights. He also acknowledged the kidnapped child, Masoor Kakar, saying he considers him like his own and is utilizing all resources for his recovery.
He lauded former Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar for effectively representing Pakistan’s case globally and for bringing pride to both Balochistan and the country with his capable leadership.
