Special prayers were offered during Eid congregations for the security and prosperity of the country and for the Muslims of Gaza, Palestine and Occupied Kashmir.
In Quetta, Eid prayers were offered at more than 270 Eidgahs, mosques, and open grounds with the largest congregation held at the Toghi Road Eidgah, where Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq Haqqani led the prayer.

After the Eid prayer, citizens began sacrificing animals in accordance with the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
On this occasion, strict security measures were in place outside the Eidgahs. Parking of all kinds of transport within a 500-yard radius of prayer venues was prohibited.
