Governor Balochistan emphasizes prudent and strategic decision-making amid regional turmoil

QUETTA: The Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that in view of the rapidly changing circumstances-particularly the turbulent developments unfolding in the region-it is imperative that we make decisions with utmost caution and wisdom, keeping in mind our national interest and available resources.
In a statement, issued here on Friday, the Governor Mandokhail said that in order to confront the emerging threats in the region and safeguard our national interests, we must implement balanced and acceptable policies.
He emphasized that achieving broader harmony on matters of national importance and taking all provinces into confidence can have a positive impact.
He noted that the abundance of natural and mineral resources in Pakistan calls for comprehensive planning and execution, so that these resources may be utilized effectively in the national interest. This, he said, would not only secure our future but also transform the country into a beacon of peace and development.
Mandokhail further stressed that intellectuals and, especially, political leaders must rise above personal interests and present timely and practical suggestions to ensure the development of national resources, improvement in people’s quality of life, and the protection of the future of coming generations. He concluded by stating that this is a true test of their political foresight and wisdom.
