QUETTA: As part of a key administrative decision, the Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Government of Balochistan has officially approved the merger of the Hub Levies Force into Balochistan Police. According to the notification issued in this regard, all command, authority, and administrative control of the Hub Levies will now fall directly under the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Hub district.
The notification clearly states that all personnel of the Hub Levies will now be considered part of the police force. Their salaries, benefits, and other administrative matters will be managed under the district police budget.
This decision has been made to enhance the effectiveness and coordination of the law and order system, aiming to bring uniformity to the security structure and improve rapid response capabilities in Hub district.
With this merger, the distinction between police and Levies in the district has been completely eliminated. All security operations and law enforcement activities will now be carried out under police command, establishing a unified and strengthened law and order system.
