Quetta: Major High-Level Meeting of Coalition Leadership Highlights Political Stability and Development Agenda

QUETTA, Nov 28, 2025: A significant high-level meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta, bringing together the senior leadership of all provincial coalition parties and members of the Balochistan Assembly.
The session was attended by Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, and Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola. Parliamentary leaders from Pakistan Muslim League, Pakistan Peoples Party, Balochistan Awami Party, and Awami National Party, including Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, Sardar Umar Gorgij, Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Mir Sadiq Sanjrani, and Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, were also present.
During the meeting, the coalition leadership conducted a detailed review of the province’s political situation, law and order, and ongoing development projects. The participants expressed full confidence in the provincial government and resolved to work collectively to maintain political stability.
The leadership welcomed the steps taken to ensure peace and proposed actionable measures for further improvement. A joint strategy was agreed upon to accelerate development projects, promote good governance, and align welfare initiatives with public needs to ensure tangible benefits reach the common citizen.
Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that political harmony and strong parliamentary coordination are key guarantees for the province’s future. He added that the coalition parties are united for Balochistan’s development and peace, describing the shared vision as the province’s real strength. Governor Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel highlighted that the coalition’s unity on the agenda of peace and development reflects a positive political environment, and the meeting concluded with a unanimous commitment to continue joint efforts for public welfare, security, and the timely completion of development programs.
