Islamabad — Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal has announced scholarships, financial assistance, and other support for talented and deserving students of the University of Turbat whose parents earn less than PKR 70,000 per month.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the University of Turbat and Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal at the Bait-ul-Mal headquarters in Islamabad. The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, Professor Dr. Gul Hasan, and Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt. Director General of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Professor Dr. Zeeshan Danish, and other senior officials were also present.
During the ceremony, the Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal assured full cooperation with the university to provide maximum financial support to deserving students. Professor Dr. Gul Hasan expressed gratitude to Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, stating that a large number of students in the region come from low-income families, and such initiatives help them gain quality higher education while becoming responsible, self-reliant, and productive members of society. He added that investing in the education of deserving students plays a vital role in developing the country’s human resources.
