Kachhi: Public frustration is mounting as open courts (khuli kachhris) in Kachhi District fail to resolve citizens’ issues, officials and community leaders say. Despite directives from Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti and the Chief Secretary, locals report negligible improvements in law and order, basic services, and civic infrastructure.

Residents from Machh, Dhadar, Bhag, Kathan, and Suni voiced concerns over rising thefts, robberies, and insecurity. Schools and hospitals are in poor condition, lacking staff and essential facilities, while clean drinking water shortages in Ballanari, Bhag, and surrounding areas add to public distress.

Political and social leaders criticized the administration for mere formality, noting that khuli kachhris are limited to reports and photo opportunities rather than delivering tangible results. They urged the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to take direct notice, hold district authorities accountable, and implement measures to provide real relief to the citizens. The call reflects growing demand for functional governance, effective administration, and a visible improvement in public service delivery in Kachhi.
