Jacobabad: Armed robbers looted a trader within the limits of Miranpur police station, further highlighting the deteriorating law-and-order situation in Jacobabad.
According to details, unidentified armed men intercepted trader Muhammad Bakhsh Rind, a resident of Gulab Mari, near the Sam Branch area. The assailants snatched cash, a mobile phone and other valuables at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.
The incident has intensified fear among citizens, traders and commuters, who say rising crime has made daily movement unsafe across the district. Affected residents and members of civil society have expressed serious concern over repeated robberies and street crime.
Citizens have urged the district administration and the SSP Jacobabad to take immediate and effective measures to restore peace, curb armed robberies and ensure protection for traders and the general public.
