Peshawar, Jan 4, 2026:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has strongly condemned the terrorist firing incident in Lakki Marwat that claimed the lives of three police personnel, calling it a tragic and cowardly act against the state and public safety.
Paying rich tribute to the martyred officers, the Governor said the sacrifices of police personnel deployed to protect the lives and property of citizens would never be forgotten. He expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the families of the martyrs, stating that the entire province stands with them in this moment of grief.
Faisal Karim Kundi termed the attack on police an extremely regrettable and condemnable act, emphasizing that those who target law enforcement officials deserve no leniency. He reiterated that the sacrifices rendered by police personnel in the fight against terrorism and for the restoration of peace would not go in vain.
The Governor reaffirmed the government’s resolve to continue decisive action against terrorism and to fully support law enforcement agencies in ensuring lasting peace and stability across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
