Naseerabad, January 16, 2026:
Chairman Municipal Committee Dera Murad Jamali, Mir Safdar Khan Umrani, held a detailed meeting with a delegation of journalists led by Press Club President Abdul Razzaq Bangulzai to discuss civic issues and municipal services.
During the meeting, journalists highlighted problems related to sanitation, drainage, clean drinking water, street lighting, road repairs, and public facilities. Abdul Razzaq Bangulzai said the media serves as a bridge between the public and local administration and plays a key role in highlighting civic issues.
The municipal chairman said the local government was taking serious steps to improve service delivery and stressed that transparency, accountability, and good governance were his top priorities. He welcomed constructive engagement with the press and assured that viable suggestions would be forwarded to relevant departments for implementation.
