Health services under the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) in Balochistan have shown visible improvement, with modern medical equipment now reaching rural health facilities. Former Quetta mayor and PTI leader Rahim Kakar, along with party colleagues and legal professionals, expressed strong support for the ongoing reforms. In a joint statement, they said that since the appointment of CEO Dr. M.B. Raja, PPHI health centers have started moving in the right direction. They praised the PPHI Board for its effective oversight and acknowledged the round-the-clock efforts of Provincial Coordinator Haroon Kasi. According to the statement, the delivery of modern diagnostic and treatment equipment to remote areas was previously considered unrealistic but has now become a reality. The team also appreciated the services of Zakir Nasir and his staff for providing quality healthcare. Special commendation was given to DSM Pishin Ismatullah Tareen and the deputy DSM for ensuring medicine supply and staff supervision. PTI leaders reaffirmed their commitment to support all initiatives aimed at providing better healthcare facilities to the public across the province. End
