The Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in several areas due to maintenance and testing work on grid stations and transmission lines. According to a company spokesperson, electricity supply from Pishin Grid Station will remain suspended from 2:00 am to 2:00 pm on February 5, while Chaman Grid Station will face outages from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on the same day. Additionally, power supply from the 66kV Manjhoshori Grid Station will remain suspended from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm due to disc replacement work. QESCO stated that the maintenance is necessary to improve system reliability and ensure uninterrupted supply in the future. The company apologized to consumers for the inconvenience caused by the temporary suspension and appealed for public cooperation during the maintenance period. Consumers were advised to take precautionary measures in advance to minimize inconvenience during the announced outage timings.
