Rector Meets NTU Cricket Team Ahead of Pakistan University Cricket Championship 2026

FAISALABAD — The cricket team of the National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad, met with Rector Professor Dr. Muhammad Rashid Masood prior to their participation in the Higher Education Commission’s Inter-University Cricket Championship (Zone I), currently being held at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad.

During the meeting, Dr. Rashid Masood encouraged the players, urging them to play with full passion and to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship in their everyday lives. He emphasized that sports not only contribute to physical fitness but also serve as an excellent means of character building and leadership development.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Raza, Dr. Nasir Ahmed, Mian Adeel, Sports Officer Imran Ali, Sajid Anwar, and Public Relations Officer Sardar Pervez Akhtar.

The university administration extended its best wishes to the team for success in the tournament. It is pertinent to note that the NTU team will be taking part in the championship with full zeal and competitive spirit.
