Ramazan Relief Distribution Launched in Loralai; DIG Makran Advocates Drug-Free, Safe Gwadar Communities

Loralai, Feb 26: The distribution of the special Ramazan Relief Package for deserving and underprivileged residents is actively underway across Loralai. Assistant Commissioner Bori, Nadeem Akram, personally delivered ration bags to patients at the Drug Addiction Hospital, ensuring that aid reached beneficiaries in a fair and dignified manner. The district administration has adopted a transparent and well-organized system to guarantee that the most vulnerable populations benefit from the assistance.
The initiative reflects Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti’s vision of providing timely and respectful support during the holy month, allowing citizens to partake fully in the blessings of Ramazan.
Meanwhile, Deputy Inspector General of Police Makran Region, Imran Qureshi, visited the Gwadar Press Club on Feb 26 to participate in the program “Hal-e-Ahwal.” The session was attended by Press Club President Noor Mohsin along with senior journalists from the district.
During the interaction, DIG Qureshi highlighted that eliminating drug abuse and maintaining sustained law and order are top priorities for the police. He assured participants that all necessary resources would be mobilized to uphold peace in the city and emphasized the critical role of coordination between police, media, and the public. “Mutual cooperation will not only help prevent crime but also ensure the timely resolution of public issues,” he stated.
The program concluded with the Press Club honoring DIG Qureshi by presenting him with a traditional Balochi shawl and an honorary shield in recognition of his contributions to the region.
