LAHORE, March 29: Devotees gathered in large numbers to mark the annual Urs of Madho Lal Hussain, celebrating the city’s rich Sufi heritage with traditional fervor.
The festival, widely known as Mela Chiraghan, featured vibrant illuminations, devotional singing, and rhythmic drum performances, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere.
Participants from diverse backgrounds paid tribute to the revered saint through poetry, music, and collective remembrance, reflecting the inclusive essence of Sufi traditions.
Organizers said such gatherings play a vital role in preserving centuries-old customs while promoting tolerance, unity, and social harmony across communities in Lahore.
