KARACHI, March 29: A 60-year-old man died after being struck by a train near Sultanabad in the Hijrat Colony area on Saturday, police said.
The victim, identified as Muhammad Panjal, was hit near a railway crossing adjacent to a local hotel. Authorities said the impact proved fatal.
Rescue officials shifted the body to the trauma centre of Civil Hospital Karachi using an ambulance operated by the Edhi Foundation.
Police confirmed the incident falls within the jurisdiction of the City Railway Colony Police Station and further investigation is underway.
