GOB takes strict notice of finishing of petrol in health dept’s ambulances carrying dead bodies of labourers

QUETTA: The Government of Balochistan has taken strict notice of finishing of petrol in the ambulances of provincial Health Department carrying the dead bodies of labourers, killed in a bomb blast in Harnai on February 14, 2025.
The spokesman of Provincial Government Shahid Rind informed that provincial government has decided to take serious action against the responsible officials in this regard.
In this regard, the District Health Officer of Killa Saifullah, Dr. Taj Muhammad has been suspended on the complaints received regarding insufficient petrol in the ambulances, sent to Shangla area of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw carrying bodies of the deceased labourers.
The spokesman said that the negligence is not tolerable, and a such explanation has been sought from the concerned authorities in this regard.
If the negligence was proved, then more strict action would be taken against the responsible officials, he warned.
However, the DHO Killa Saifullah has been suspended under the Balochistan Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act 2011, immediately.
Moreover, the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has also expressed anguish over the incident and ordered stern action against those responsible.
