Revolutionary initiative taken by CM for young pilots: Young Pilots Development Programme-I launched in Balochistan: spokesman
QUETTA: The Young Pilots Development Programme-I (YPDP-I) has been launched for young pilots of Balochistan. Under the programme, the young pilots hailing from Balochistan would be imparted modern training of 200 additional flight hours. The young pilots would also be given scholarships for the financial assistance in addition to the training. This would enable them to earn distinction in the aviation sector at national and international level.
This and similar other details were shared by the spokesman, Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind with the media persons at a press conference at Chief Minister’s secretariat on Monday afternoon.
Also present on the occasion were Director Geneal Aviation Wing Balochistan, Captain Ali Azad and under trainee pilots.
While briefing the media persons about YPDP-I, the spokesman of provincial government said that the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has initiated revolutionary steps for the young pilots. He said that this initiative is the first historic decision of any provincial government in Pakistan.
He said that the Chief Minister is taking practical steps for the bright future of youth of the province.
He said that the YPDP-I would play a pivotal role in promotion of aviation in the province. He also said that it is priority of the provincial government to create new opportunities in the aviation sector.
He said that youth of the province would be made eligible to compete at the world level in the aviation sector.
He said that the financial assistance to be provided to the young pilots would help improve the professional capabilities without any financial pressure.
He said that the YPDP-I is being implemented immediately on directives of the Chief Minister.
Meanwhile, the Director General Aviation Wing Balochistan briefed the media persons about the YPDP-I.
He also highlighted the technical aspects and importance of the programme.
The trainee pilots present on the occasion termed the programme as historic and remarkable achievement for youth of the province.
