QUETTA: The Inspector General Frontier Corps (North) Balochistan, Major General Abid Mazhar has stated that comprehensive security measures would be taken during Muharram to ensure the full protection of the public.
The IG FC (North) Major General Abid Mazhar was addressing the security conference regarding Muharram held at the FC (North) Balochistan Headquarters in Quetta on Thursday.
The conference was also attended by Additional Chief Secretary Home, Muhamad Hamza Shafqaat, prominent Shia and Sunni scholars, members of the business community, and individuals from various walks of life.
During the conference, final decisions were made regarding security measures for Muharram. The participants assured their full support for the peaceful organization of Muharram processions and gatherings.
On the occasion, IG FC (North) Major General Abid Mazhar stated that comprehensive security arrangements would be made during Muharram. He emphasized that all participants have a key role in maintaining peace during the holy month.
Religious scholar Qari Ubaidullah stated that “we have many enemies, and FC plays a vital role in thwarting their nefarious plans.”
Representative of the Hazara community, Muhammad Ejaz said that the conference focused on finalizing security arrangements for Muharram.
