Lahore, January 24: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said education remains the top priority of the provincial government, reaffirming her commitment on World Education Day. She stated that education is universally recognized as a foundation for peace and sustainable development.
The Chief Minister emphasized providing modern knowledge and skill-based education to youth, calling educated and confident young people the true architects of national progress. She highlighted the Honhaar Scholarship Programme as a ray of hope for students and said the CM Laptop Programme is facilitating access to modern learning tools.
She added that innovation is being introduced across schools, colleges and universities, with curricula aligned to contemporary needs, including early exposure to artificial intelligence in primary classes.
