DIG Sheikh Calls for Heightened Vigilance During Visit to Ziarat, Reaffirms Commitment to Public Safety

QUETTA (July 18): Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Loralai Range, Junaid Ahmed Sheikh has reaffirmed that safeguarding the lives and property of citizens remains the foremost responsibility of the Balochistan Police, stating that measures are being further strengthened to enhance security preparedness and operational effectiveness in view of the prevailing law and order situation.
The DIG made these remarks during his visit to Ziarat district, where he was accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Abdul Malik Durrani and held meetings with police officers and personnel to review the security environment.
During the visit, Sheikh inspected various sections of the Police Lines as well as the local police station, assessing security arrangements and evaluating the district’s operational readiness to respond to emerging challenges.
On the occasion, DPO Abdul Malik Durrani briefed the DIG on the overall law and order situation, prevailing security concerns and the measures being implemented to strengthen policing and improve public safety in the district.
Addressing police personnel, DIG Sheikh instructed officers to remain fully vigilant and ensure the effective implementation of the prescribed security plan. He emphasized the need for constant alertness, professionalism and prompt response to counter any potential terrorist threat and maintain peace in the area.
The DIG praised the dedication, courage and professional commitment demonstrated by the police force, assuring officers that every available resource would continue to be utilized to strengthen security and protect the public.
Reiterating the resolve of the Balochistan Police, Sheikh said the force would continue its determined efforts to defeat terrorist elements and would spare no sacrifice in its mission to preserve lasting peace, stability and prosperity across the province.
