Hyderabad Protest: Hala Naka Residents Demonstrate Against Alleged Police Excesses, Demand Fair Inquiry

HYDERABAD, July 18: Residents of Goth Muhammad Bachal Solangi near Hala Naka staged a protest outside the Hyderabad Press Club on Saturday, alleging police excesses and calling for an impartial investigation into their grievances.
The demonstrators carried placards and raised slogans, urging the authorities to ensure justice, accountability and protection of citizens’ rights. Protesters called on the Sindh government and senior police officials to take notice of their complaints and conduct a transparent inquiry into the alleged incident.
Participants said their protest was aimed at drawing the attention of the relevant authorities to their concerns and seeking lawful redress. They appealed for action in accordance with the law and demanded measures to strengthen public confidence in law enforcement institutions.
The demonstrators urged the provincial administration to address their grievances without delay and ensure that any complaints of misconduct are investigated through a fair and transparent process in line with legal procedures.
