SANJAVI, Nov 30 — A major public-welfare initiative aimed at improving household water storage and easing chronic water shortages was launched in Sanjavi, where a large number of domestic water tanks were distributed among residents. The activity was funded through the special development allocations of Provincial Minister for Food Haji Noor Muhammad Domar and Chairman Municipal Committee Sanjavi Haji Khan Muhammad Domar.
According to details, a formal ceremony was held in Ward No. 9, Killi Chilez Naraji, where residents have long faced challenges in securing clean and reliable water supplies. Local notables and community elders attended the event, which highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing basic civic needs at the grassroots level.
Prominent participants included Chairman Municipal Committee Sanjavi Haji Khan Muhammad Domar, Malik Lajur Khan Domar, Malik Ayaz Khan Domar, Chairman Malik Baye Khan Domar, Haji Noorullah Domar, Chairman Haji Nasruddin Tareen, Councillor Abdul Rahim Domar, Councillor Maulvi Faqir Muhammad Domar, Councillor Haji Ayaz Kharruti, Maulvi Samad Sahib, Malik Nawaz Khan Domar, Raz Muhammad Zarkoon, Haji Safar Khan Domar, and Mehbob Khan Domar among others.
Speakers noted that public-welfare schemes remain a central priority of the Balochistan government and that ensuring access to clean water significantly reduces hardships faced by local communities. Residents expressed deep gratitude to Minister Haji Noor Muhammad Domar and Chairman Haji Khan Muhammad Domar, stating that the distribution of water tanks offers a practical and long-awaited solution to a persistent problem.
Local residents hoped that similar people-focused initiatives would continue so that essential services can be delivered effectively to households across Sanjavi.
