Emergency Nurses Week Celebrated at GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital
Training sessions enhance nurses’ decision-making, life-support skills and patient communication in emergencies.

In recognition of nurses’ critical role in saving lives, GDA Pak-China Friendship Hospital under the Indus Hospital & Health Network observed Emergency Nurses Week. The Nursing Services Department conducted specialized training sessions focused on emergency decision-making, modern equipment usage, patient communication and stress management.
Dr Muhammad Junaid Khan and Zahid Emmanuel led the workshops, covering triage assessment, basic life support (BLS) and trauma care guidelines. Deputy Manager Nursing Services Ms Saima Ali Shah said the initiative aims to upgrade emergency ward competence to international standards and will continue as part of hospital’s staff development priorities.
